Moto Academy aims to create a safe and fun environment for promising young New Zealanders to learn the art and sport of Motorcycle roadracing. We aim to become the first choice for both junior and novice New Zealand racers to develop their skills and careers in a professional, nuturing and safe environment.
Moto Academy NZ has provided from 2008 to 2011, motorcycle road racing rider training for New Zealand motorcycle sport through providing a development programme that includes all aspects of the sport relating to skills development, physical training, machine set-up and control, psychological development, media and sponsor relations and career planning.

Moto Academy NZ has been different to other junior motorcycle sport initiatives in New Zealand. Riders have been provided with the complete infrastructure required to learn how to ride and race 125cc Grand Prix motorcycles which includes; motorcycles, leathers, gloves, boots, helmets, mechanical support, paddock infrastructure and off-track tuition.
For 2011 we now have only one Honda RS125 motorcycle left along with a full spares back up so we have decided to focus mainly on rider coaching without providing the full infrastructure.
For the 2012 NZSBK season we once again welcome Hafiq Azmi to the team and look forward to an exciting and successful season.

Our programme not only provides instruction during racing events but also classroom tutorials and more detailed instruction at selected testing days. Specialists are invited to attend selected tutorials in order to provide more expert specialist tuition.
The majority of the Moto Academy NZ events take place at Manfeild Autocourse, but we have also travelled to other race tracks in New Zealand including Taupo, Ruapuna, Levels and Hampton Downs.
If you are a young (16-20 yrs) rider or racer and do not have the experience or the resources to race or if you have run a season or two in Streetstock 150 and are looking to move onwards to a 125GP bike, then Moto Academy NZ might be just right for you.
If you are a corporate sponsor looking for an opportunity to promote your national or international, youth, sport or leisure oriented brand with a visible, professional and unique vehicle, then Moto Academy NZ might be just right for you.
